We have confirmed that the AlfaSpid Rotator / Controller will support the following software:
Software may have new versions and some options may have changed.
We suggest you use the preferred software.

RAK referrers to Azimuth rotators.
RAS referrers to Azimuth and Elevation rotators.

N1MMplus Logger (Preferred software)

Alfa mode RAK or RAS
Rotator control software will run stand alone ( N1MMRotor.Net.exe )
To run standalone, just install the full program and then make a link to/from your desktop to N1MMRotor.Net.exe and run the program.
Works very WELL, small foot print on the desktop.

AlfaSpid mode RAS Satellite tracking has not been tested.

Current models support USB directly.

Older models came with RS232 or a serial interface level shifter cable.

A serial 9 pin male to 9 pin female cable with the level shifter is required.

Most USB to serial adapters should work.

Very old units, used parallel port interface. It is possible to update to serial RS232 but not cost effective for AlfaRadio Ltd. to make this upgrade. If you have a older unit and wish to upgrade, there is upgrade policy. Please contact AlfaRadio Ltd. for current price.

NON LISTED SOFTWARE:

When using the controller in emulation mode please ensure that:

The baud rate is 1200, 8 data, 1 stop for the AZ units ( RAK)
and 600, 8 Data,1 Stop for AZ/EL units (RAS).

The controller must be set to " A " mode with the " F " button

We have not tested all software.
